Pedestrian Safety

Walking is a healthy way for children to be physically active, explore their environment, and develop independence. It’s a great no cost activity that can help to refresh the mind, reduce stress, and increase energy.

Walking daily can be part of your family’s everyday routine – from getting to and from school, going shopping, or as a family activity, such as a park or trail walk for time in nature and time together!

Teach children about road safety and help them gain the skills they need to walk safely.
