Travel Vaccines

If you’re planning to travel outside Canada, you may need additional vaccines based on your destination and current immunization status.

Note: SMDHU does not provide travel vaccines. Please consult your health care provider or a travel clinic 2 to 3 months before your trip. This ensures you have enough time to receive all recommended vaccines and complete any necessary doses before you travel.

Vaccine safety is taken very seriously in Canada. We have an extensive testing and monitoring system in place to ensure vaccines are as safe and effective as they can be.
