Municipalities

Idle Reduction Toolkit

This tool kit has been developed with you - municipal staff and decision makers - in mind. Those Municipalities who have already implemented bylaws and/or policies have graciously allowed us to highlight their work here as examples for those still researching or working on a bylaw.

You will also find promotional resources that have been made available from Natural Resources of Canada; case studies and enforcement strategies.

We hope this tool kit will give you the tools you need to start, continue or complete an idle reduction bylaw or policy.
