Vaccines can provide important lifelong protection against many infectious diseases. Immunization programs have played a huge role in the reduction of illness and deaths from infectious disease, especially among children. This section of HealthSTATS provides information about routine childhood immunizations and the incidence (number of cases) of diseases that are prevented by routine immunizations.
