About Breastfeeding

Breastmilk is all the food and drink a baby needs for the first six months of their life. It is healthy for children and families are encouraged to keep breastfeeding for two years and beyond. This is recommended by Health Canada, Public Health Agency of Canada, and the Canadian Paediatric Society.
