• 58.2% of Ontario students (Grades 7 – 12) reported drinking alcohol in the past 12 months (OSDUHS, 2009).

• 25.6% of Ontario students (Grades 7 – 12) reported smoking marijuana at least once in the past 12 months (OSDUHS 2009).

• 42% of Simcoe Muskoka residents reported heavy episodes of drinking in the past 12 months (CCHS, 2005).

• 7.3% of Simcoe Muskoka drivers reported driving within 1 hour after 2 drinks, in the past 12 months (CCHS, 2003).
