Update on Tick Surveillance and Testing

As of September 20, 2021, the National Microbiology Laboratory (NML) no longer accepts blacklegged ticks for Borrelia burgdorferi testing under the passive tick surveillance program. Laboratory testing is not a diagnostic tool for Lyme disease in humans.
