Public health nurses can help you learn about labour and birth and how to care for yourself and your family in the days after your baby is born. Classes fill quickly so register early in your pregnancy.
To register for an In-Person Prenatal Class or a Live Virtual Prenatal Class:
Each class series consists of multiple sessions that must be attended (you cannot register for individual days). Please review the prenatal classes schedules below and take note of the desired prenatal class location and desired series date offered (month/year) for your first and second choice. Do not select class series that is already in progress. You will need this information when you complete the registration form.
Example: If you choose the Barrie November 2026 series your class sessions will be on November 5, 12, 19 and 26.
NOTE: If you are NOT submitting a second choice, please enter ‘Not Applicable’ for both the prenatal class location and series date offered.
Once the information is submitted, you will receive a confirmation email within 3 business days. Please ensure you check both your inbox and spam folder.
Cancellation: If after registering you are unable to attend and need to cancel, please let us know via the online cancellation form, as this will allow us to offer an available spot to someone on our waiting list.
