IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) will no longer be providing dental claims administration for adults on Ontario Works Emergency Dental program as of December 31, 2016.

Accerta Claim Servicorp Inc. has been retained by the three municipalities within our health unit jurisdiction to administrator these claims effective January 1, 2017.

The health unit will process any claims received by the end of the day on December 31, 2016.

Any pre-determinations approved in 2016 will be honored for treatment in 2017.

We will continue to support providers and clients during the transition of Ontario Works Adult Emergency Dental claims processing from SMDHU to Accerta. If you require more information, please call your local municipality Community and Social Services department or the health unit at (705) 721-7520 and ask for extension 8810.
