Other Drugs

People may take drugs for a variety of reasons…to change the way they feel, to get high, curiosity, peer pressure, to help them forget problems or to relax.  If this behavior continues, drugs often end up increasing a person’s problems rather than reducing them.  Many drugs are addictive and can have some very serious effects on a person’s wellbeing both mentally and physically. Street drugs present additional risks since there are no controls on the quality, content, safety or strength of street drugs.  You may not even get the drug you think you are getting or it may contain other higher risk drugs harmful to your wellbeing.
