Follow-up survey on COVID-19 impacts launches for Simcoe Muskoka adults
A second local impact survey is being conducted to gain more insight into how individuals and families in Simcoe Muskoka have been affected by the pandemic.
We want to learn more about the impacts the COVID-19 pandemic is having on local residents 18 years of age and older. The online survey is a follow up to a first survey conducted last fall. By participating in the survey, you will help the health unit and other community partners understand how the pandemic has impacted you and your family. Your information will be used by the health unit and shared with community partners and political decision makers to improve programs and provide enhanced support to those who need it most. The survey is anonymous and no identifiable information will be collected. It can be completed in English or French. Results collected from the first survey are being analyzed and are expected to be shared publicly in April. We will also share the results of the current survey once they are available. The survey closes April 16, 2021.
The survey asks about your experiences, behaviours and thoughts related to:
- Income, stress, mental and physical health;
- Ability to get healthy food, or maintain living arrangements;
- Access to health care services;
- Parenting, children’s behaviours and mental health;
- Following public health recommendations; and
- How the health unit has responded to the pandemic
