Tobacco-free Champions in Midland: Public health nurse Nancy Bell of the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, right, presents staff of Hillcrest Village Care Centre with their Smoke-Free Champion award for declaring their grounds smoke free a year ago. The long-term care home is part of the trend to reduce outdoor smoke, a move that supports people who are reducing or quitting smoking and helps to eliminate exposure of residents, staff and visitors to secondhand smoke. From left, Wendy Ens, Laurine Moreau, Leslie Ivanko and Trish Lalonde. Missing from photo is Walter Ens.
