Come to a free STOP workshop for help to quit smoking

The workshop will assist you in planning your quit and provide information, counseling and a five-week supply of the nicotine patch to help you succeed.

SIMCOE MUSKOKA - If quitting smoking is something you are ready to do, the health unit is here to help. It is hosting free, three-hour STOP workshop around Simcoe Muskoka in partnership with CAMH.

The workshop will assist you in planning your quit and provide information, counseling and a five-week supply of the nicotine patch to help you succeed.

You must register in advance for a workshop. Call Health Connection at 705-721-7520 or toll free at

1-877-721-7520.

Upcoming workshops include:

Barrie                 Thursday, November 12       12 p.m. – 3 p.m.

Gravenhurst       Thursday, November 26       1 p.m. – 4 p.m.

Midland              Thursday, December 10       1:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.
