Is your child safe in your car?

Nov 02, 2015
SIMCOE - Car crashes kill more children than any other injury. When children use car seats, they are well protected and less likely to be severely injured.

SIMCOE - Car crashes kill more children than any other injury. When children use car seats, they are well protected and less likely to be severely injured.

If you have a new car seat it is important to sit down and read the car seat instructions as well as the child restraint section of your vehicle owner’s manual. As all car seats and vehicles are made differently, this is the best way to ensure that you use the seat correctly.  For more information on car seat safety visit www.smdhu.org (look for Child Car Seats under Injury Prevention in the Topics menu).
