Free nicotine patches at health unit STOP Smoking Workshop

The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is hosting a free, three-hour STOP Smoking Workshop in Midland, on Wednesday, March 19.

MIDLAND - The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is hosting a free, three-hour STOP Smoking Workshop in Midland, on Wednesday, March 19.

A second workshop will be held for residents in Bradford-West Gwillimbury on Thursday, March 20.

The workshops are targeted to adult regular smokers who are ready to quit and want supports to succeed. Every participant will receive a free, five-week supply of nicotine patches.

Pre-registration is required by calling the health unit’s Health Connection line at 705-721-7520 or toll free at 1-877-721-7520. The address of the workshop will be provided at time of registration.
