Nominate a local champion who promotes tobacco and smoke-free living

What do healthcare workers, property managers, teachers, condominium boards, family health teams and municipal councils all have in common? They are all past recipients of a Tobacco-Free Champion award presented annually to celebrate World No Tobacco Day.

SIMCOE MUSKOKA – What do healthcare workers, property managers, teachers, condominium boards, family health teams and municipal councils all have in common? They are all past recipients of a Tobacco-Free Champion award presented annually to celebrate World No Tobacco Day.

Community members are invited to nominate individuals, businesses, groups or anyone whose contribution, however small or large, has helped to make the places we play, live and gather tobacco and smoke-free.

Nomination forms are available on the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit website www.simcoemuskokahealth.org or by calling Health Connection at 705-721-7520 or toll free at 1-877-721-7520.

The deadline for nominations is Friday, May 10, 2019. Winners will be announced for World No Tobacco Day, May 31. A full list of past winners is posted on the health unit website.
