Tobacco Trade Off

If you use tobacco be prepared to make a trade off. Tobacco is the number one cause of preventable death and disease. If you don't quit smoking, it may shorten your life. But that's just one possible outcome. You may find yourself living with a disease that makes it difficult to breathe. How would a devastating stroke change your life? Problem is, you don't know what that trade off will be if you don't quit smoking.

Are you willing to give up your health, your time with your family, or your future? It's time to quit.

We will be featuring stories from local people who have quit - some before they suffered permanent damage and some who weren't so lucky and are living with the consequences of smoking. If you have a story to share that can help other people quit smoking, we want to hear from you. Send an email to Health Connection and let us know.

If you're not willing to trade your health for tobacco, then it's time to quit.

If you don't know where to begin, call Health Connection at 705-721-7520 or 1-877-721-7520 during business hours.
