Foodborne illness

Below is a list of common illnesses that can happen when food is not cooked or reheated to proper temperature. It is also very important to clean food prepping areas and your hands often and properly to prevent illness.

If you suspect you have a foodborne illness, please seek medical attention.

You can also report any foodborne illness by calling Health Connection at 705-721-7520 or 1-877-721-7520, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and ask to speak with a public health inspector.
