Health Impacts

Ontario Medical Association released a report on the Illness Cost of Pollution in June of 2005 which includes 2005 – 2026 health and economic damage estimates.  

The Ontario College of Physicians released The Health Impacts of Urban Sprawl Information Series, Volume One – Air Pollution.  

In June 2005 Toronto Public Health released a summary report on Influence of Weather and Air Pollution On Mortality in Toronto. The report describes the key findings of a major study that investigated the combined and independent impacts of extreme weather (hot/cold) and air pollution on human acute mortality.
