Recreational Camp Resource Binder

The recreational camp resource binder contains materials that will assist you in choosing the right decision for your campers when it comes to making healthy and safe choices. Navigate through the sections of the resource binder on the left hand side of this page.

New this year is a section on Outbreak Management. This section of the manual will outline our joint roles (the camp and the SMDHU) during any outbreak or case of a reportable disease. It will also provide information and resources for the development of policies, procedures or contingency plans to effectively and efficiently manage outbreaks or reportable diseases.

We recommend that this binder be shared with all your staff, from counsellors to nurses to ensure the binder is put to good use.

Feel free to print off extra fact sheets or guidelines as you need them. Posters and brochures are not available for printing online but you will be able to order more copies by calling Health Connection.
