Parenting is not always easy….it is normal to have lots of questions. The Healthy Babies Healthy Children program is voluntary and helps you give your child the best start in life.

The Healthy Babies Healthy Children program is free and offers help and support (by phone or during a home visit) to those who are pregnant and to families with children up to age 6.

Public Health Nurses & Family Home Visitors are here for you:

A Public Health Nurse can talk to you about:

• Health during pregnancy
• Your health after having a baby
• Nutrition
• Your baby’s growth and development
• Comforting and soothing your baby

A Family Home Visitor can provide home visits and help you with information about:

• Parenting
• Daily routines
• Positive discipline
• Your child’s safety
• Community resources such as parenting programs
