STOP Workshops Offer Free Counselling and NRT

  • In partnership with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), the health unit offers free three-hour STOP workshops around the region.
  • Each workshop includes a free supply of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) in the form of the patch.
  • Public health nurses will provide information on the proper use of the NRT as well as counselling and tips to support your quit attempt.
  • Pre-registration is required to attend a workshop by calling Health Connection at 705-721-7520 or 1-877-721-7520.
  • The exact location of the workshops will be supplied upon registration.
  • New workshops will be added as the supply of NRT is made available from CAMH. For more information about the CAMH STOP Study Program, click here.
  • For more information about NRT, check out our Myths and Facts About Stop Smoking Medications.

Please check back for future workshop dates
