Tobacco-free champion

Local tobacco-free champions

Every year, the health unit recognizes local Tobacco-Free Champions as part of the celebrations around World No Tobacco Day. These champions are nominated by their peers and community partners for making it a priority to help people in our communities play, live or become tobacco free. World No Tobacco Day is celebrated on May 31st each year to recognize the work being done around the world to reduce the preventable death and disease caused by tobacco industry products.
