It is safest to avoid using any form of cannabis (marijuana) if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It is well known that your child’s brain develops very quickly during pregnancy and early childhood. Since exposure to cannabis could cause changes in your child’s brain it is best to avoid using cannabis during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
