Youth Active Transportation


  • is any form of human- powered, nonā€motorized transportation – including walking, cycling or wheeling (e.g. in-line skating/skateboarding).

  • can be part of your everyday routine to get to school or visit your friends. Using your own energy to get places helps you to get more daily physical activity.

  • can be combined with public transit to get to places that are further away such as the recreation centre, skateboard park or the mall.

  • improves your health and supports a healthy community.
