Flu Vaccine

The H1N1 and seasonal flu vaccines are available to all Simcoe Muskoka residents 6 months of age and older. The health unit's public flu clinics are now complete. Vaccines are available through participating health care practitioners. 

The health unit offers a limited number of bookings for influenza vaccination through regularly scheduled clinics in health unit offices. This option is limited to those who are not able to receive their flu vaccination through their family physician. • A parent or legal guardian or appointed substitute decision maker (as per the Health Care Consent Act) must have read the information about the vaccine and signed the consent form for those unable to make their own informed consent to receive the vaccine(s).
