Where can I get the flu shot this season?

  •  Pharmacy - children 5 and older, and all adults
  • Family Doctor -early immunization for high risk groups, all age groups
  • Nurse Practitioner -early immunization for high risk groups, all age groups
  • Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit – clients with no Ontario Health Card, children under 5 with no family doctor or nurse practitioner

What if I am bringing a grandchild, or someone unable to provide their own consent to a health unit flu clinic?

If you are not the parent or legal guardian, you must come with a signed consent that gives direction to us to administer the flu shot to that particular person from the parent/legal guardian, or the power of attorney for each person. If there is not a signed consent, we are unable to provide the flu vaccine to that person.
