Do I need a vitamin or mineral supplement?

Most healthy people can get the vitamins and minerals they require from the food and beverages they eat as long as they follow a healthy diet as recommended in Canada’s Food Guide.


In addition to eating a healthy diet, there are certain groups of people who need, a vitamin or mineral supplement:
