Education Resources

Breastfeeding rates are dramatically improved if communities constantly upgrade current knowledge in their members regarding breastfeeding best practices.

Step 2 of the Baby Friendly Initiative promotes the education of staff in health care agencies regarding current evidence informed practice for breastfeeding support.

Some of the learning opportunities below are particularly designed to support professional staff in hospitals and communities to access current knowledge and develop practice skills. Other members of the community may access selected opportunities to improve knowledge and skills about breastfeeding as well. For more information about this, contact the source of the educational opportunity to see whether special qualifications are needed to enroll.
