Midland office closure

April 15 to 19

Please be aware that the Midland office will be closed for a week to allow for the office relocation to the new Georgian Bay District Secondary School.

The office will reopen on Tuesday, April 23.

During this time, some services will be cancelled or have alternative sites.

Private water samples

Between April 15 and 22 there is no water sample bottle pick up or drop off at the Midland Office.

You can pick up bottles or drop off your samples at the Barrie office by 4 p.m. on Monday, April 15 and Tuesday, April 16 only.

Otherwise you can drop off your water samples at the Public Health Ontario Lab in Orillia, 750 Memorial Ave, Orillia as follows.

Monday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Tuesday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Wednesday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Thursday, 8 a.m.– 5 p.m.
Friday – Sunday, Closed
Monday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Vaccine ordering and pick up

The last day for pick-up of vaccine at the old office will be Friday, April 12; orders to make this pick-up date must be placed by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3. Packages will be ready for pick up between Wednesday, April 10 and Friday, April 12.

As the Midland office will be closed there will be no vaccine pick-up available from April 15–19.

For pick-up after reopening, orders will need to be placed by 3 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17 and will be ready for pick-up in our new office location starting Wednesday April 24.

Needle Exchange

Naloxone kits can be obtained from any pharmacy

Chigamik Community Health Centre

845 King St., Monday, Thursday and Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4 p.m.

Tuesday and Wednesday, 8:30 am.–7:30 pm.
