Statistics Canada to survey residents of the southern townships of Simcoe County

Ottawa, February 10th, 2016 – Are you aware of the services offered by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) and where you can obtain them?
Ottawa, February 10th, 2016 – Are you aware of the services offered by the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit (SMDHU) and where you can obtain them? Have you or your family used any of their services? Have you found that the services are easy to access? Your district health unit wants to know!

Statistics Canada will be conducting a voluntary survey on behalf of SMDHU. The purpose of this survey is to gather information on residents’ awareness, use and access to the services provided by the district health unit.

Brief telephone interviews of residents at least 18 years old, will be conducted from February 22nd to 26th, 2016. Approximately 2,000 households will be contacted. Your participation is important for the planning purposes of the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.

All information collected by Statistics Canada will remain strictly confidential, as required by the Statistics Act.
