All breastfeeding families are invited to join in! The Global Breastfeeding Challenge is a fun and friendly competition in which families come together and attempt to set the record for the most children breastfeeding simultaneously.

The purpose of this challenge is to bring awareness to breastfeeding, and demonstrate promotion, protection and support for breastfeeding women and their families. Being able to breastfeed whenever and wherever a child is hungry or needs comfort is critical to breastfeeding success.

The Orillia community is already welcoming breastfeeding. Join other businesses and organizations and display a welcome sign for breastfeeding. Breastfeeding is Welcome signs are available for local businesses, community and municipal organizations wanting to show their support.

Flag Raising

Date:               Monday Oct. 3, 2016

Time:              11:00 a.m.

Location:        Orillia City Centre
