Workshops include free nicotine patches to help area residents quit smoking

BARRIE -The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is hosting two free STOP smoking workshops on Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for all adults ready to make a quit smoking attempt.

BARRIE -The Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit is hosting two free STOP smoking workshops on Tuesday, Sept. 15 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for all adults ready to make a quit smoking attempt.

At the three-hour workshop, public health nurses will provide support in the form of counselling and a free supply of nicotine replacement patches to help you reduce cravings and improve your chances to successfully quit.
