  • After-hours emergencies, including disease outbreak notification, chemical spills or other major public health incidents should be directed to the staff on call at

Travel advice

The health unit no longer provides information about travel vaccines, or counseling about travel to other countries. However you may direct your patient to the following websites that they can use to determine what vaccines they may need and where to obtain the vaccines.

  • Travel Health Online By registering, users can search a database of current information on disease, civil unrest, crime and other risks around the world.
  • Travel Medicine Clinic locations A list of travel clinics is maintained by the Public Health Agency of Canada.
