Sexual Health Clinics

Sexual Health Clinic Services are available in Barrie, Midland, Orillia, Collingwood, Gravenhurst, Alliston, and Huntsville. Public health nurses offer confidential counselling and information about:

• Birth control including the Emergency Contraceptive Pill
• Pregnancy counselling
• Sexually transmitted Infections (STIs) - testing and for certain STIs treatment is free
• HIV testing including anonymous testing
• Sexuality and relationship support and referrals

For sexual health counselling you will see a public health nurse to discuss your concerns or questions. If needed, another appointment can be booked with a nurse practitioner or doctor for further assessment, testing and treatment.

Clinic services are by appointment only. All information is confidential.

Where are Needle Exchange Programs located? 

Needle Exchange services are provided through a variety of health unit offices, pharmacies and street outreach centres across Simcoe Muskoka. Services are available in Barrie, Huntsville, Gravenhurst, Orillia, Midland, Collingwood/Wasaga Beach and Alliston.
