Board of Health Bylaws

Bylaw No. 2005-02 To Provide for Banking and Finance for the Board of Health

Pursuant to Section 56 (1) (b) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Health shall pass a bylaw respecting banking and finance.

Bylaw No. 2005-03 To Authorize the Borrowing of Funds

Pursuant to Section 56 (1) (a) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Health shall pass a bylaw respecting banking and finance, and may pass a bylaw on anyother matter necessary or advisable for the management of the affairs of the Board of Health under Section 56 (2).

Bylaw No. 2005-04 To Appoint and Provide for the Duties of the Auditor to the Board of Health

Pursuant to Section 56 (1) (d) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Health shall pass a bylaw respecting the appointment of an auditor.

Bylaw No. 2005-05 To Provide for the Management of Property

Pursuant to Section 56 (1) (a) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Health shall pass a bylaw respecting the management of property.

Bylaw No. 2005-06 To Appoint and Provide for the Duties of the Legal Advisor to the Board of Health

Pursuant to Section 56 (2) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Health may pass a bylaw on any other matter necessary or advisable for the management of the affairs of the Board of Health.

Bylaw No. 2005-07 To Provide for the Payment of Remuneration and Expenses to Members-07

Pursuant to Subsection 56 (2) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Health may pass a bylaw on any other matter necessary or advisable for the management of the affairs of the board of health, and:

Bylaw No. 2005-08 To Provide for the Appointment and Duties of the Medical Officer of Health, the Associate Medical Officer(s) of Health and the Acting Medical Officer of Health

Pursuant to Subsection 56 (2) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Health may pass a bylaw on any other matter necessary or advisable for the management of the affairs of the Board of Health, and:

Bylaw No. 2005-09 To Provide for the Designation of Senior Leadership Positions

Pursuant to Section 56 (2) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Healthmay pass a bylaw on any other matter necessary or advisable for the management of the affairs of the Board of Health, and with recognition that:

Bylaw No. 2005-10 To Provide for the Establishment of a Sick Leave Reserve Fund

Pursuant to Section 56 (2) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Health may pass a bylaw on any other matter necessary or advisable for the management of the affairs of the Board of Health.

Bylaw No. 2005-11 To Provide for the Execution of Documents by Designating Signing Officers

Pursuant to Section 56 (1) (a) & (b) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Health shall pass a bylaw respecting banking and finance and the management of property, and may pass a bylaw on any other matter necessary or advisable for the management of the affairs of the Board of Health under Section 56 (2).

Bylaw No. 2007-01 To Provide for the calling of and proceeding at meetings of the Board of Health for the Simcoe

Pursuant to Section 56 (1) (c) of the Health Protection and Promotion Act, the Board of Health shall pass a bylaw respecting the calling of and proceedings at meetings, and may pass a bylaw on any other matter necessary or advisable for the management of the affairs of the Board of Health under Section 56 (2).

Bylaw No. 2010-01 To Provide for the Establishment of a Capital Reserve Fund

This By-law may be cited as the “Capital Reserve Fund By-law”.

Bylaw No. 2010-02 To Provide for the Establishment of a Contingency Reserve Fund

This By-law may be cited as the "Contingency Reserve Fund By-law".
