Food and Income Press Kit

Thanks for visiting.

"Cent$less" is an awareness campaign to build public support for income solutions that can reduce household food insecurity.

Put simply: Hunger is a symptom of poverty. With the provincial government's launch of a Basic Income Guarantee pilot project, there's an opportunity to raise more awareness of the issue and its impact on health.

The news media are important partners in conveying this message. This kit includes resources to help reporters build more comprehensive local coverage of the issue.
