Short notice dental appointments available for Healthy Smiles

SIMCOE MUSKOKA – Short notice appointments for free dental care are now available for eligible children and adults at the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s Healthy Smiles dental clinic in Barrie.

SIMCOE MUSKOKA – Short notice appointments for free dental care are now available for eligible children and adults at the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit’s Healthy Smiles dental clinic in Barrie.

The Healthy Smiles clinic provides free preventative, routine and emergency dental care for children and youth 17 years old and under from low-income households. Adults who are on publicly funded dental programs are also eligible for free care at the clinic (i.e. Ontario Works, Ontario Disability Support Program).

To find out if you or your children are eligible for Healthy Smiles Ontario and to book a dental appointment at the clinic, located at 80 Bradford St., Barrie, call Health Connection at 721-7520 or 1-877-721-7520 x8818 weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or check www.smdhu.org for more.
