Commit to quit smoking; Make your home smoke free; Quit the denial; Advocate for tobacco-free living

1. Commit to quit smoking – It’s the single best thing you can do to protect your health. Enter the 2014 Driven to Quit Challenge ( to help you quit and maybe win a new car!

2. Make your home smoke free – Smoking indoors exposes everyone to dangerous chemicals. If you aren’t ready to quit, take it outdoors and clear the air inside so others can breathe easy.

3. Quit the denial – If you don’t consider yourself a smoker because you only use tobacco in social situations, you are taking a big risk. Nicotine is extremely addictive and your occasional use is setting you up to become a daily user.

4. Advocate for tobacco-free living – Kids learn from the role models in their lives. As a parent, coach or community member promote tobacco-free sports and recreation and support policies that ban tobacco use around the places families play, live and gather.
