SIMCOE MUSKOKA - This is a good time to quit smoking. There will be plenty of help from the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit in a series of workshops this week and next.
The three-hour STOP workshops provide participants with a free supply of nicotine replacement patches. The supply is sufficient to get you through the cravings in the first few weeks as you work to become smoke free.
The workshops are open to adults 19 and older. Pre-registration is required by calling the Your Health Connection phone line at 705-721-7520 or 1-877-721-7520, Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The exact location of the workshop will be provided at time of registration.

Bracebridge Mon. April 22 1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Midland Wed. April 24 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.

The STOP study is being offered in partnership with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, and is funded by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as part of its Smoke-Free Ontario Strategy.
