Baby’s eating habits: a good topic for Play together—Grow together

Mar 04, 2013
Has your baby started grabbing the spoon while you’re feeding her or becoming impatient between spoonfuls? Is she showing interest in your food or trying to take food from your plate? Take it as a good sign!

SIMCOE MUSKOKA - Has your baby started grabbing the spoon while you’re feeding her or becoming impatient between spoonfuls? Is she showing interest in your food or trying to take food from your plate? Take it as a good sign! She’s letting you know she’s ready to feed herself and wants to have food in front of her so she can get busy. It’s all part of your little one’s healthy development.

You can learn more about your baby’s growth and all the joys and challenges that go with it, on Facebook at Play together — Grow together. It’s a page tailor-made for parents of young infants and toddlers in Simcoe and Muskoka, with helpful information from public health nurses and a public health dietitian at the Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit.
