SIMCOE MUSKOKA – It’s still very early in the flu season, which makes it an ideal time to make sure you and your family have been immunized.

It takes about two weeks for the flu vaccine to become fully effective, so it makes sense to get the flu shot now, before the disease begins to spread.

Flu shots are being offered at 120 pharmacies across Simcoe and Muskoka, as well as at doctors and health care provider offices. Locations can be found at www.ontario.ca/flu.

For more information call Health Connection at 705-721-7520 or 1-877-721-7520 weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., or visit www.simcoemuskokahealth.org.
